Hello! I have a lovely 2 year old daughter and am looking to take in a child or baby part or full time in my home! I am also happy to do before/after school care as well. My name is Agathe and I am new to the Ottawa area – we just moved here from Vancouver in June! I am happy to take in newborns and up and have experience with many ages. We are a happy, healthy family – we are outdoors almost every day, love eating healthy and reading, doing age appropriate arts and crafts, unstructured play, and lots of learning. My daughter is energetic, empathetic and curious and I am very safety conscious, reliable and fun! We also are bilingual (french and english)
My previous paid work experience was not with children, but I did many years of volunteer work with the PRDA ( http://www.prda.ca/ ) which is a fantastic therapeutic equestrian facility for children (and adults) with mental and physical disabilities. I also cared for my sisters child and those of friends. Obviously, my best relevant experience is being a mom!
I have a child safe house on a quiet street with lots of toys, books etc. I also have a pack n play and high chair here, along with other needs for babies. There are parks close by, and I also have a car and valid ON drivers license and 2 car seats if needed.
I have my emergency child care first aid and CPR/AED level B from Canadian Red Cross. I also have had a criminal record check for every year of my work with the PRDA. Rates are negotiable depending on hours, days etc. We are very flexible as our days are mostly free J Thank you! |
