I provide a wide range of activities for children to discover their potential, and learn to navigate through the world around them. I plan circle time and music, sensory and dramatic play. I also have outdoor play in a fully fenced yard, creative, puzzles, literacy, and number sensory activities. Included are science discovery, and field trips. All activities are planned to meet your child's need for gross and fine motor development, Speech and Language development, as well as cognitive, social, and self help skills.
Daily routines include free play, structured play, minimum of two nutritious snacks, homemade lunches, naptime (flexible depending on age), outdoor play group activities and one on one time.
Using my degree in Child Studies I identify when children are at their peak sensitivity to learn various concepts. Therefore, each child has an individual program addressing his or her particular learning needs. I work willingly with Speech Pathologists,, Resources Teachers, and Occupational Therapists to support children with special needs. My training includes "Quality Childcare Niagara (Part One)", First Aid and CPR, and "Hanen's Learning Language and Loving It", among other courses relevant to "Early Learning". I also hold a clear Police Check.
I provide daily updates and suggestions for parents to support growth at home. I welcome parent input, and therefore, I encourage parents to contact me any time with questions and concerns.
My home is on a quiet street near downtown Niagara Falls steps away from 2 city bus routes.
Flexible scheduling is available for parents enrolled in school (College and Continuing Education at the Secondary Level), and can be discussed as school timetables are announced.
My home, daycare, and vehicle are all properly insured.
I am actively involved with two well known agencies in Niagara Falls, a member of the ECCDC and I am an active member of a local Care Providers' Network.
