Home-based daycare in a clean, centrally located home in St. Catharines, Scott and Bunting, I am a mother and a certified teacher with a diploma from the Toronto Montessori Institute, and I have my Red Cross Standard First Aid CPR/AED, Level C.
The house is clean and bright. We are a smoke-free family.
An experienced home daycare provider, I provide a loving, safe environment with a focus on nutrition, physical fitness, socialization, and stimulating play. Meals are healthy, and I am familiar with safe food handling practices (10 years as a personal chef). Fresh fruit/vegetables are served at every snack and meal.
The daycare is a television-free zone, and my Montessori background gives me a keen insight into the developmental requirements of each child. We always emphasize empathy, social awareness, and compassion. Manners, table manners, and self-care are all actively taught here.
Whenever the weather permits, we are outside playing; I have a big backyard with 2 custom-built playgrounds. (One a natural playground and one a traditional playground)
My husband and I provide police background checks. My past and current parents can provide references and personal anecdotes.
I have a sixteen-year-old daughter who loves children and will often participate in daycare activities after school. We have one cat.
The cost is $50.00 per day.
Hours are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
