I have been blessed with two of my own kiddies, a 3 yr old boy and a 19 month old girl who make me want to have many more, if I can just convince my hubby :)
We moved to Markam last year to be close to hubby’s work as his hours are demanding and he didn’t have very much time seeing our kids. He is the youth director at a catholic church in the area. His love for teaching kids has projected to me and I now volunteer there as the Babysitting coordinator, watching kids during mass time.
I originally decided to start Little Friends Home Daycare, when we lived in Bradford, in order to stay home with my children and to give parents the peace of mind that their children are happy in a home, away from home, in a safe, clean, educational and nurturing environment.
I offer a “home” style type of care. I have a sunny and separate play room but the rest of the house is also used. All children are treated like my own. Nobody gets preferred treatment as I believe in treating everyone fairly. I also believe it is important to encourage a variety of different activities geared towards each child's age. I work each child individually and as a group.

I offer a nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks. The kids will often help in making certain lunches and snacks (ie: decorating pizza or cookies etc).
We spend a lot of time outside, in the fresh air (weather permitting), going to the park, for walks, we join different playgroups, go to the library, early years centre, indoor playgrounds, etc.....
I am located right next to St. Patrick Catholic School and offer before and after school care with breakfast and after school snack.
I am very easy going and approachable. I would like parents to feel like they have found a second home for their kiddies, so I offer a flexible schedule and will work with your budget to make sure we are both happy. I offer FT and PT care as well as temporary and back up care. If your regular daycare person can’t watch your child(ren) for any reason, I would be happy to cover for them. I also offer temporary care, for up to a full day, if mom or dad needs a few hours to run errands, an appointment or just to relax.
I am a smoke free home, however, we do have an incredibly super friendly and amazing doggy who literally melts your heart at first glance :) We have been told by everyone that has met him, that he is the most well behaved and best dog they have ever met.
1 to 4 ratio (that includes my 2 children). I prefer a small ratio to ensure everyone gets equal attention.
