Hello! My name is Katya Long, I am a stay at home mom who loves to play. At my house my son who is just over a year and I spend a lot of time reading books, playing with blocks, learning our colors, numbers and letters and making crafts. We like to go for walks to nearby parks and when it's sunny we have picnics out in the sun.
I am an expirienced care provider having worked in a multi age child care centre, with references from my supervisor and co workers available. I have my first aid, criminal record check and will provide all meals and snacks. In our house we are largely vegetarian but focus more on eating clean than cutting out meat. We like organic whole foods when possible and the occasional treat.
We will also be attending occasional play dates with other friends at play grounds and Strong Start which is provided by the government of Canada at several elementaries throughout Abbotsford.
I baby wear, cloth diaper and baby led wean if asked, and can assist in potty training as I have been actively working on Elimination Communication with my own baby. We love to play at our house and although we try to make play time a time of learning too interaction and fun is most often the main goal.
