I am a mother of two and in my thirties. For most of my career I have been in the banking industry, most recently as a bank manager, but have given it up to follow my dream of working with children.
I started out my schooling in the ECE program but had switched when an opportunity came forth. Now being older and wiser I am looking to do what makes me happy as a career choice which is kids!
As a working mother I know how difficult it can be to find someone to provide the level of care while your away. Also finding someone to adapt to changing work schedules can be a challenge! I want to change that. My hours are flexible and I will provide the loving care that I provide to my own kids. I can also add in some later evenings or weekends depending on the situation.
About the Daycare:
We have devoted our basement, living room, kitchen, and the backyard to our daycare. Downstairs is a huge open space filled with toys, books, crafts, and a reading corner. Our backyard is a large fenced in area complete with playset and covered deck for those warm but rainy days! Just two doors down is a huge park to visit and play in. I believe in a lot of outside play time and am a hands on child care provider.
I cook healthy meals daily. My family and kids get every food group, even if they don't know it! I provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner plus snacks. All depending on what time the kids arrive and depart.
I follow a daily routine with the kids and incorporate new ideas all the time. I also work with each child individually as well as in the group. I provide a positive learning environment. My rates are competitive.
Our house is smoke-free and we have kitties in the house. I have my first aid CPR level C and police checks.
