I do not offer full day daycare. I only offer Before & After School Care at my home, where I have dedicated 650 sq.ft. of my basement for a clean, safe, fun place to play. There is a variety of toys, books, music, board games, puzzles, dress up, arts & crafts supplies available, as well as a large, fenced backyard for outdoor play. We will have our snacks and drinks in the kitchen on the main floor.
Care hours:
Before School Care - 7:00a.m. to 9:00a.m.
After School Care - 3:30p.m. to 6:00p.m.
PA Days - 7:00a.m. to 6:00p.m.
I am able to provide Before and After School Care during the school year, including PA days for up to 5 children at a time (aged 4yrs-9yrs), excluding my own children. I will be closed on weekends, Civic and Statutory holidays, Christmas Break, March Break and part of the Summer holidays.
Fees:
Fees are available for Before Care Only or After Care Only. If your child(ren) requires both Before & After Care, you receive the reduced rate of $16/child/day.
Pay only for the days your child attends. No payment is due for sick days, vacation or statutory holidays.
There is a 15-minute grace period for Early/Late Arrival for those times when you are unavoidably running late, or have to start earlier. Payment for these occurrences will be due on the same day as your regular fees, as agreed upon on our contract.
Afternoon snacks will be provided for After School Care. Breakfast, Morning and Afternoon Snacks will be provided for PA days, but your child will need to bring their own lunch.
I have a completed Police Check and I am certified in Emergency Child Care First Aid, CPR and AED. My home is smoke-free and pet-free. I am a stay at home mom with 2 girls in SK and Grade 2, and we are looking forward to making friends and having fun! |

I can drop off and pick up your children from the assigned bus stop close to my home, for Before and After School Care.
If you are eligible for school bus services, you will need to contact Hamilton Wentworth Student Transportation Services (www.hamiltonschoolbus.ca) to reassign your child to my address as a daycare drop-off/pickup location. If you are not eligible, you will need to apply for Empty Seat status with HWSTS. I will need to know the bus stop location close to my home that HWSTS provides you, prior to filling up and signing the required paperwork for your child to start care at Little Friends At Play.
Please call me if you have any questions or concerns. You can request a Parent Handbook for more information regarding my policies and procedures. A contract and other paperwork will need to be filled up and signed prior to your child starting care. You can bring your child(ren) with you to visit us for an orientation.
