I graduated with a Child and Youth Worker diploma. I have worked with a wide range of children of all ages including those diagnosed with disabilities such as autism. I have been very lucky to have the opportunity to work with many wonderful children in various settings including 1-1 therapy in the home, schools, hospitals and group homes. I have a wide range of experience within my field.
I am a stay at home mom and I am offering a home based childcare experience. Care for your child will be structured yet flexible to provide an enriching and satisfying experience in a healthy and safe environment. My goal of each day would be to provide stimulating activities that develop your child’s independence, self–esteem, creativity, emotional, physical and social needs.
Arts and crafts, reading, singing, costume play, blocks and puzzles are just some of the activities that will be offered to your child daily. Outdoor play, walks to the near-by park and library will part of our daily routine.
I will provide nutritious home made lunches and two snacks each day. I will accommodate to any food allergies or special requirements needed for your child. All meals will follow the Canadian food guide standards to ensure your child receives all his/her daily requirements.
I want there to be a lot of communication between parents and myself to make sure the needs of your child are met. This is very important to me.
I have my current first aid and CPR certification.
No home is like your own home but I strive to make my environment as close to home for your child as possible. We are a loving caring family who only wants the best for our own son so there is nothing but the best to ensure a quality environment in our home.
