Hello I am a part time kindergarten teacher and mother of 2 beautiful, happy children. My daughter is 3 and my son is 15 months.
I am opening my home for daycare and babysitting Monday, Wednesday, some Fridays and weekends. Times are flexible.
On the other days, I teach kindergarten at a public school.
I work part time so that I can have more time to teach, nurture and have fun with my children. I have found it difficult finding a daycare that can provide for my children the way I would believe is stimulating, nurturing and educational. I have found that what I have at my home for my children is better than sending them to a daycare. This is why I am opening my home and hope that I can offer some relief to other families, even if it is part time.
I offer endless oportunity for exploration, learning and love. I also offer healthy meals. I ensure there are plenty of fruits and veggies being served with as little modified ingredients as possible. Both my kids have a good appetite.
The daycare is throughout my whole house and is not just limited to my basement. The basement has the most toys and a huge play area but we are not limited to this space. In the summer there is a splash pad and park within walking distance. We love to get outdoors! We also love baking and doing crafts. All the while singing, reading, counting, and learning our letters!
