Hello,
I'm a passionate early childhood educator. In the last 6 years I have been caring and educating children in a lovely setting created on my home on the beautiful Capitol Hill. I have space for children to play, explore and learn. I'm a true believer in hands on experiences and being connected to nature.
We have lots of toys and an indoor cedar playhouse. Among other tools we use a light table and an overhead projector to inspire and awaken children's creative side. We have a huge lush fenced back garden with lots of trees and we go on daily walks to the playground close by.
My daycare is licensed by Fraser Health and have openings for children 2 to 5 years old. I'm proud to follow the Code of Ethics of Childhood Educators of British Columbia as well as the Early Learning Framework.
My program is the same as a preschool, we do circle time, art and crafts, music and dance. Quiet time is from 1:00pm to 3:00 pm.
