I have been working with children 6mths and up for 20 years, and I have been a certified lifeguard/swim instructor for over 15 years, so Safety and Risk Management is at the forefront of my daily operations.
My education background is in Recreation, and I have my High Five certification in Principles of Healthy Child Development.
This background gives me expertise in scheduling and programming, which enables me to plan our daily schedule and curriculum to move at a progressive pace that suits the children in my care. And with only 3 children in full-time care (1 being my own) I can ensure that each childs needs and interests are met, and that our schedule and cirriculum can easily be adjusted to best suit each child. My goal is to ensure each child is prepared and ready for JK.
I provide fresh, home made meals and snacks, which include organic fruits, organic vegetables, organic dairy products and organic eggs. Any non-organic foods are still purchased mindfully with an attempt to maintain foods that are preservative-free, no sugar added, free range, grain-fed, hormone and antibiotic-free. All meals and snacks use healthy, whole foods that are nutritious, as well enjoyable for young children.
Full-time rates will include lunch and two snacks, field trips, extended hours and additional after-hours child minding.
Looking for after-school care to start in the Fall? I have two spaces available for Castlemore Public School and San Lorenzo Ruiz students.
One space has opened up for either one part-time or full-time child, aged 2.5 and up.
I can also accommodate occasional child-minding while parents attend meetings or run errands, etc. |

Admission conditions |

|
- There is a flexible pay schedule, (ie/. weekly, bi-weekly, monthly).
- Fees are due at the beginning of the cycle.
- There is a dog on site. She is wonderful with people and children of all ages. She is 6 years old, and tends to keep to herself.
- Field trips are a part of the full-time curriculum. Parents will be given a minimum of 2 weeks notice before a trip. There will be no additional fees to parents, unless parents wish to send money with the children for special purchases.
- Before and After-School could be available for students of John McCrae Public School, Castlemore Public School, or San Lorenzo Ruiz Catholic School.
