My name is Iwonka and I am the owner and operator of Scribbles to Scholars Home Child Care. I have two degrees from the University of Ottawa. I have my Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences and Bachelor of Education in Primary/Junior Division.
I have over 5 years of experience providing care and education to children of all ages. I have focused my experiences toward a career in child care and teaching. I am excited and eager to provide a safe and fun learning environment for your child. There will be structured outdoor and indoor activities, as well as, opportunities for child directed play to allow independence and creativity.
Children will have fun learning ABC's, numbers, colours, animals, and much more. Children will not only learn basic academic skills, but they will develop life skills such as manners, sharing, and cooperation. Your child will have the opportunity to learn by participating in activities such as dramatic play, science exploration, music, games, and reading books. Nutritious snacks and lunches will be provided in order to promote the development of healthy eating habits. My objective is to create an environment where your child can play, laugh, learn, and grow. |
