Bia's Home Daycare is located in Old Ottawa East, near St. Paul's University and it is easy accessible from Sandy Hill, Alta Vista, Downtown Ottawa, Old Ottawa south and Glebe.
At Bia's Home daycare all meals are included, and home made daily. Vegetarian options can be accommodated into our menu easily. Children will enjoy a fenced in backyard where we grow our own vegetables (Spring/Summer/Fall), and play time happens with sprinkler fun, a good size sandbox, climbing & ride on toys, etc. Outings are provided (weather permitting) to The Ottawa Children's Garden, Brantwood park & Nature museum (among others).
Indoors children have available to them an array of age appropriate toys and play ''stations'', where they can colour, play with manipulative toys (in a Montessori style environment), have fun in our sensory wall and more. We have fun reading stories and singing songs during circle time, baking and dancing and role playing in our large toy kitchen or during dress up games.
In our home we enjoy playing and taking care of our pets, which include two dogs, one outdoor cat and our fish tank and terrarium.
Children have their own room, with beds custom built and specially decorated just for them. Bia's home daycare is full cloth, so parents do not need to provide diapers or wipes.
Bia has been working in the childcare field for over 10 years! She follows a Waldorf/Montessori like programming which allows children to flourish on their own time and way. |

To all prospective parents:
This household has pets, 2 dogs (being one a very energetic & friendly puppy) and a cat. We are full cloth (no disposable diapers or wipes please - cloth diapers are provided for children while in care, parents are not required to purchase any). |
