With more than 13 years of experience, childcare provider Katelyn Moon believes that children learn naturally through play and exploration - she follows their lead and expands on their interests. Every day, children are engaged in new and exciting activities that stimulate all areas of development through art, music, literacy, sensory experience, movement, and play. Katelyn honours that childhood is a beautiful period of one's life where character and creativity are developed by playing with boxes, splashing in mud puddles and painting with fingers. Special projects and activities take place regularly.
Saplings Early Learning Childcare supports children as capable, active members of the community. Blending elements of the Reggio, Montessori, and Waldorf philosophies, Saplings encourages learning about empathy and emotions; caring for yourself and others; and being an active and responsible citizen. Katelyn opens her heart and her home as welcoming places so that children will grow together with a zest for life and learning. Saplings strives to create a community within the centre where parents are encouraged to spend time and to participate in the program to build relationships with other families and the teacher.

$760/ month for full-time or four days a week
$560/ month for three days a week
$380/ month for two days per week
Teacher Katelyn Moon has over 12 years experience working with children as well as her Early Childhood Educator Certificate and her Infant and Toddler Diploma.
