I provide a safe, loving home environment for your little one! Daily routine includes outside play time every morning - parks, beach, exploring the neighbourhood, out playing with our chalk and bubbles. Rain or shine!!
All snacks and lunches are healthy and homemade.
Craft time includes play dough, paint, colouring and learning our ABC's and 123's. We do library trips, special outings (fruit picking, picnics) - the options are endless!
What I teach:
-independence and learning through trying - I take the time to help my little ones learn to dress themselves for outside play, learn to feed themselves, help set the table, etc.
-empathy and mutual respect, how to help a friend who is sad (give a hug!) and how to share with our friends
-resolving conflict by using words and "taking turns"
-reading readiness skills for school- I foster a love of reading and make sure all of my daycare children learn letter recognition, sounds and practice printing their name
Be prepared to get messy and have lots of fun :)
I have a police check, first aid and CPR and can provide references upon request.
