*Summer care available*
I am located in the Walter Zadow Public school and John XXIII Catholic School Boundaries.
I have a child who attends St. Joseph Catholic school who will dropped off at BumbleBee Forest Daycare.
I provide a safe, warm, caring, playful, trusting home-like environment for your children. Our daily routine consists of play based learning, both indoor and outdoor, arts and crafts, and free play which fosters decision making, independence, and the development of social skills. Circle time provides your children with confidence, a feeling of belonging in a community, socializing, and learning valuable everyday skills. I believe in respecting each individual child and nurturing all their free spirit and energy. I provide an assortment of toys, games, materials and activities which both inspire and motivate your children to learn to explore.
I have been trained as an Early Childhood Educator and I am a mother to two busy boys, aged 3 and 1. Before starting my family, I worked at South Nation Conservation (SNC) as a Water Quality and Lands Technician. I had the opportunity to work with families and children while at SNC finding creative ways to teach children about our environment. I also have a diploma in Forestry Technician (Algonquin College) and Fish and Wildlife Technologist (Sir Sandford Fleming College). I am excited to incorporate all my knowledge and love for the environment into curriculum planning for your children.
I have a fenced in backyard with a play house, sand box, ride on toys, basketball net, sprinkler for those hot summer months and many other outdoor type activities. We are a close distance to a park with a large play structure and swings. I also have a wagon train so I can go for nice walks with the children. There is an Early Years Center in close proximity to my house that we will visit.
I will provide your children with wholesome mid-morning and late afternoon snacks and a hot/cold lunch. I have a flower garden and vegetable garden growing in the backyard which the kids can help with and of course, eat the fresh organic produce! This is a pet friendly house.
I am First Aid and CPR class C (for adults and infants) certified and have a clean Criminal Record check for the vulnerable section (for children and the elderly). |
