My name is Lyn and I am the owner and operator of Lyn's Home Daycare in Barrhaven. I am married and a mom to three school aged children. I have been operating home based daycare since April 2007.
I believe that children are entitled to environments and opportunities that foster positive social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development. I aim to create a structured yet flexible atmosphere to provide a feeling of security for each child. I provide a safe, healthy, respectful, and nurturing home away from home for your child. I believe that it is never too early to start learning, a philosophy for which my daily schedule and activities are based on. At my daycare, your child will have fun learning ABC's, numbers, animals, and much more through songs, dance, crafts, and games. Every child in my care will have the opportunity to learn not only basic academic skills but also social skills, such as manners, sharing, and cooperation.
My daycare is located in Chapman Mills of Barrhaven, close to Longfields Drive and Paul Metivier Drive. A private road and a minute walk to the park, meaning your child will have daily exercise and fresh air! Your child's well being and happiness always come first at my daycare.
Nutritional home cooked meals and snacks are provided in a non-smoking, pet and pool free environment.
For your comfort, I am CPR and First Aid certified and hold a valid Police Record Check. I am also a member of CCPRN - Childcare Provider Resource Network
