Hi! My Name is Dahnica, Mother of 2 young boys ages 6 & 2 years old.
I have been running my dayhome successfully for just over a year, but have experience in child care for almost 12 years. (Please note my home is smoke & pet free, except for “Ready”, our beautiful fighting fish )
I currently have spaces available for full time and/or part time care .
I believe structure and routine are very important for growing children as it makes them feel comfortable, secure and safe. Our daily routine includes but is not limited to the following:
• Reading
• Learning letters, numbers, colors, etc.
• Free Play
• Baking for special occasions
• arts and/or craft time as well as Special crafts for holidays & birthdays
• Imaginary Play
• Structured Play
When the weather is cooperative, we can be found outside. Either at the park located at the community center, or various parks around my house, as well as in my fully fenced backyard. During the warmer months we spend lots of time at the spray park.
Each new addition is welcomed with their own art box which includes colouring pages, markers or crayons, stickers and a sketch book.
I provide healthy snacks throughout the day as well as 2 meals (breakfast & lunch) that follow the Canadian food guide.
Hours are 6:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday (extended hours can be arranged if necessary)
Monthly fees are very agreeable.
