My name is Jennifer Havens. I am a Early Childhood Educator and graduated from Niagara College. Before starting my home childcare, I worked directly in childcare for 9 years and then spent 6 years as an Early Learning and Childcare Consultant for a Non-Profit Organization where I have supervised the development of resources and materials to be borrowed by the ECE community and have developed and facilitated professional development workshops to over 2000 ECEs in the Niagara region and provincially. I am currently First Aid and CPR certified and I have a valid reference check available upon request.
The Playhouse opened in April 2014 after extensive renovations in our lower level, a 700 sq feet space dedicated to the daycare. Pictures of our daycare space are also available on our website at www.theplayhousedaycare.weebly.com . We offer full-time and part-time care from 8:000am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. We go play outside as often as we can or when weather permits. We have a fully fenced-in backyard for the children to play in.
