4 full time or part time positions available in my home day care beginning in June 2014 (I may have positions opening before then as well). I have my child/ youth worker degree and have 6 years experience working with children within a group home setting.
My daycare focuses on play based learning and is centered around the Montessori idea "help me to do it myself". I provide meals and snacks using the Canadian Food Guide. Your child will be engaged in dance, art, science and exploration. I visit the local parks and libraries often, outside time is part of everyday. You’ll be updated as I keep a daily log of what we do and how your child did. (No questions about if they ate lunch or napped well, it is all recorded.)
I am CPR and First Aid Certified and have a valid police check. Our home is also smoke free and pet free. The yard is fully fenced and the play areas have large windows and sliding glass doors. References are available upon request. Reasonable rates. Hours of operation are generally 6am - 5pm, however, alternate hours are possible just ask.
Our house is in walking distance from Holy spirit catholic school and Cambridge Christian school.
