Quality First Daycare and Learning Center is committed to providing every child with the opportunity to explore in a safe, natural, and stimulating environment, setting the foundation for healthy development and a love for learning.
The teacher in the classroom is a Registered Early Childhood Educator, with over 10 years experience teaching all ages and abilities. The teacher is dedicated to providing quality programming which incorporates a variety of teaching styles including, but not limited to Emergent, Play Based, and Montessori.
The curriculum planned and implement by the teacher will reflect the children's interests and five areas of child development; Language, Social/Emotional, Fine Motor, Gross Motor and Cognitive.
The teacher is committed to promoting a solid foundation for all areas of development. The teacher will provide structured programming and smooth transitions. Programming will consist of daily learning activities including songs, rhythm and movement, interactive stories, sensory and science experiments, creative, math, early literacy, dramatic play, computers and planned field trips and nature walks.
Teacher Qualifications:
-Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) diploma with Honours, Humber College
-Additional training in; behaviour management, early literacy and children with special needs
-First Aid and CPR certified
-Updated Criminal Record Check
-Great references
