Play is learning for children, and at Little Cubs' Treehouse Home Daycare, we are all about play! My promise is to give your child a safe, nurturing, and stimulating daycare experience. Your child's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development will be promoted through thoughtfully planned, age appropriate activities and learning centres, stories, songs, dance/movement, sensory play, and arts and crafts. At the Treehouse, children enjoy climbing, sliding, digging, building, mixing, and running in a large fully-fenced backyard daily (weather permitting); they also enjoy nature walks around the neighbourhood. An array of educational and age appropriate toys are provided and changed bi-weekly to coordinate with learning themes, so that your child is never bored. A nutritious lunch and snacks are supplied daily with your child's food preferences and dietary needs in mind. A separate room is provided upstairs for children to nap and, or enjoy quiet activities, such as independent reading, puzzles, puppets, and more.

At the Treehouse, your child will receive their very own cubbie and communication book, which will provide information about your child's well-being, development and achievements, so you feel a part of their day. Your feedback and suggestions are always welcome and my door is always open if you want to drop in and see how your little one is doing.
As a mother, I understand how important it is to find a good daycare for your child. After all, your child will be spending lots of time at the daycare of your choice. At my home daycare, your child will ALWAYS be treated with love and respect! She/he will be cared for and guided with the same gentleness and warmth, as I would hope for my son. That is my promise!
HOURS: Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
HEALTH/SAFETY: My home is pet and smoke free. The daycare operates on the main floor and upper floor of the house, as well as in the fenced backyard. Both floors and the backyard have been safetied to ensure a healthy, safe environment for your child.
QUALIFICATIONS: I have been working with children for over ten years (three of those years, as a preschool teacher). I have a Bachelor of Education and I am First Aid and CPR certified (renewed in May 2014).
RECEIPTS: will be provided annually in March
POLICE CHECKS: available upon request
REFERENCES: outstanding references available upon request
