Experienced and nurturing quality daycare provided by ECE daughter & mother team. Our licensed facility has a very large fenced yard and offer lots of outdoor play and learning for your child.
Indoor and outdoor activities including;
Arts and crafts, circle time, music, songs, dance, creative play, water play, sandbox, ride on cars and walks to the local parks.
Our daycare is a hobby farm with goats, chickens and horses. The children search for eggs every day and join us in feeding the chickens in the mornings. We also have horses that are securely fenced off for safe viewing for the children. We do encourage the children to feed the horses treats and hay through the fences but are never allowed access into the fields. We also have a garden that the children can watch grow and help harvest.
We are in the process of creating an outdoor obstacle course for the children to practice their gross motor skills like walking, running, jumping and balancing. It will include tires to climb on and through, different sizes of logs to hop along to a higher level and will also have a balancing beam and hop scotch.
We are inside for meal times and rest times and try to get outside for the majority of the days. Our program is very child-centred and although we have set themes each week, we incorporate the children's ideas to better their learning experiences through their interests. We believe children learn from playing and getting messy so we require parents/caregivers to bring their children with extra clothing, waterproof pants and jackets as we go outside even if it's raining.
We currently have space available for part-time and full-time 3 - 5's.
