My daycare is aptly named. I have over 13 000 square feet of fully fenced and play-equipped yardspace for the children to roam freely. My home provides plenty of space for children to run and play in a safe and nurturing environment.
I am an energetic mother of 3, and have 16 years of experience working with children. I have been providing care for children in my home full-time for 8 years. I have police clearance, First Aid/CPR-C certifications, and as many references as you can request :) I am licensed through Little Leaders Home Child Care Agency.
I love working with children, it is my passion and my life. Their happiness, as well as physical and emotional health and well-being are of utmost importance to me, and I strive to provide the best possible care in my ability.
My program specialty is music education, with daily music and movement classes integrated into the program. We spend plenty of time outdoors, as weather permits, crafts, song and story time, games and activities, age appropriate teaching of ABCs and 123s, phonics, nature, environment, feelings, about the body, outer space, transportation etc. I am constantly expanding my French program, as I further my own fluency. I put a great deal of effort into teaching children about safety, manners and social skills. When we are not able to go outside, I do not substitute with TV, but with 'Get up and Move Time', which the children absolutely LOVE. There is no TV time in my program and we are a completely screen-free space. We have a small hobby farm with chickens, bunnies and goats, as well as a large vegetable garden.
I am looking for long-term families who value home-based care and having a caregiver who develops a strong bond with their child.
I am very healthy and reliable, and have not 'called in sick' for over 3 years.
I serve clean, homemade meals with fresh fruit and veggies every day, with organic food as often as I can.
Every day I post what we have eaten, our activities, and what we have learned, at the front door, for pick-up.
*NOTE* An explanation for my fees: Part time/full time care is $45/day, and before and after school care (for Tapleytown and Our Lady of Assumption) is approximately $20/day, depending on hours required. |

Regrettably I cannot provide an environment that is safe for those with anaphylactic allergies.
I prefer families with similar priorities to myself, who will appreciate the effort I put into providing an educational program, healthy homemade meals and and overall environment that is focused on giving your children a loving and stimulating place to learn and grow. |
