It is truly amazing to witness the flourishing relationships between children, the way they develop by learning to appreciate one another and find great strategies for social dynamics. I believe my low-ratio daycare is an excellent way for children to gain a deep respect for their peers and build a gradual tolerance for the busy atmosphere of a higher volumed social setting. My daycare offers a natural, healthy transition for children to evolve and become more civilized before entering their kindergarten program. I provide the children with the confidence and skills to help gently ease their way and bring peace of mind for both parents and their children!
The transition from being home with your baby and having to return to work is never taken lightly and can feel quite overwhelming, especially with the search for suitable childcare, I respect that.
Often, childcare options are based around location, hours, rates and work flexibility which is unfortunate but true. I believe that the whole package is out there where your family will be 100% confident in their choice. This is why finding families that share the same value system for childcare is so very important.
I am a firm believer in pro-parent programming where I like to open the floor to communication between parents and providers. Parental questions, input and suggestions are positive and an asset into running a successful home daycare business.

Hello, my name is Celina Gunn, I am a Canadian Contemporary Fine Artist, Independent Professional Caregiver and mother of a ten year old daughter. My background as a visual artist lends itself well to the sensitivities of young minds, hearts and spirits which makes me an ideal
childcare provider.
Over the last weeks I have been conducting interviews for prospective families, a number of families have been looking for care between the months of October and January. Ideally, a September enrolment is preferred since the girls I have now will enter their kindergarten program in September.
Although, I am not opposed to late enrolment since finding an organic family relationship where a personal connection can be developed is a asset in finding the right family fit.
There is nothing more personal than providing care for others children and making families feel secure in knowing that their provider is wholeheartedly involved and committed to the best quality care possible.
Becoming a Individual Professional Caregiver was not a career chosen out of convenience from being home with my own small children. This career choice was made because children are a delight and enrich my life.
To the defence if sounding cheesy, really, as an artist their energy is uplifting and inspiring and aids in a good nights sleep;-)
I highly value the thought process of children and Encourage self discovery through mix media educational and creative activities, including time spend exploring stimulating and cultured environments.
When receiving low-ratio care, the attendance of children are of 2-3 on any given day, your child will benefit by close individualized care and attention. Within my Low-ratio daycare program we are able to have advantages and experiences that would not necessary be available in larger groups of children.
