Operating hours are 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Fees are $52.00 daily
Part-time and full-time space available
Located in Overbrook right off of Vanier Parkway, ten minutes away from downtown
I have an unused driveway available for clients who want to take public transit or walk to work
We are near many parks and the Rideau River, the Queen Mary Family Literacy Centre, the library, the Overbrook Community Centre, and the Rideau-Rockcliffe Community Resource Centre.
What to Expect
Kids City Daycare is a progressive space for progressive families. I strive to avoid gender stereotypes and gendering toys, and to include anti-racist and anti-oppressive principles into our learning, daily routines and the way I interact and care for the children. I try to create a nonjudgmental space where kids can grow and learn freely, centring empathy, consent, self determination, and accountability as core principles within Kids City daycare.
Each week we will engage in a variety of activities including singing and music, story reading, daily outdoor play, arts and crafts, sensory play activities, imaginative play, group games, and activities designed to develop fine and gross motor skills. We will also go on field trips to museums and community activities, such as Winterlude, throughout the year.
Kids City will be providing healthy, homemade vegetarian food, including a morning and afternoon snack and lunch. Additional food accommodations can be made upon request.
Kids City daycare is cloth diaper friendly
The Kids City environment is maintained with organic home cleaning products and is a smoke-free and scent-free space.

My home has stairs both inside the house as well as to enter the house, which may prevent barriers to those with various disabilities. Please contact me if you would like to further discuss the accessibility of the space.
