Description
At the daycare we make learning fun, with bi-weekly theme and activities, with the help of educatout. I have 20+ years experience and 14in the Avalon/Nothing hill area. I truly believe that kids are happier when keep busy, this is why I have a very stucture day. Every minute is calculated for with tons of fun activities, but to keep them interested it's important to keep track of how long the activitie last. Every child is different, some love to learn other love to play, so I've incorporated both together. A reward system is always a good tool to have and lots of prays as well. I have a good knowledge of the development of each age group and keep track of there development at each stage (nipissing chart) to see where the child needs more help. Safety is also very important to me, this is why I provide a daycare shirt for when we go to the park and I keep curant with the day nurseries act. 1st aid CPR certified and police check for me and my husband also many course on discipline and redirection. I work with 123 magic and also refer to the c.o.p.e programme and total transformation course. I provide a lunch (I make a large dinner and this is what we have for lunch the next day) and 2 snacks (fruits, yogurt,etc.). Daycare is carried strictly in French. Admission conditions
I have a small miniature schnauzer, she is 9 years old and has been raised with all the daycare kids as well 3 cats of 3 years old.
We have lots of space and tons of natural light in this single family home. The daycare is conducted on the main floor with tons of natural light.
We travel to museum and parks and thus require the use of my vehicle and we do have daycare insurance on both the house and van.
