Kate has two children; a twenty-six year old daughter, and a seven year old daughter. She has volunteered as a storyteller for both of her children’s classes in elementary school. She was not only accepted by the children, but they asked her to return many times.
She has looked after and cared for many children over the years. Her own children were reading and writing before entering kindergarten.
Kate’s love for children started as a young child herself, caring for the younger children in her family. She enjoyed entertaining them by spinning tales and inventing silly songs.
