Hi, my name is Lissa. I am a specialized educator and a mom. As an educator, I have the knowledge, understanding and mindset to adapt very easily to a child in any circumstances. And as a mom, I have a maternal instinct and so much TLC to give.
I believe that every child deserves stability and love. We have family settings that focus on life skills such as respecting others, sharing, following instructions, polite manners... I feel that these skills are mandatory before entering school setting.
While learning we have loads of fun!!! Everyday will be filled with stimulating games, art and crafts, outside fun, sing alongs’ and different social interactions.
· Circle time includes; story time, dancing and singing our A,B,C`s and 1,2,3`s and more.
· Puzzle making/drawing/painting/play-doh/loads of arts and crafts to bring home every day.
· Being outdoors at the park, taking walks in our choo-choo wagon, making bubbles, playing in water, jumping in our huge bouncy castle and building sand castle.
As a family based daycare, we have stations all over the home. The children are never in the same environment more than 1 hour at a time. They have their own bedroom (all children sleep on cots) with the friends and many play area's around the home. Fully fenced backyard and we offer many security features around the home such has alarms for doors, gates at stairways and gated fencing.
My hours are from 6am – 6pm from Monday to Friday. My rate is 39$ for full time spots. This includes snacks and a hot nutritious, home cooked breakfast and lunch. All according to the Canadian food plan. I will also provide activity plan, lunch menus and progress reports.
I have my college degree in specialized education, my CPR + First aid + infant+ AED course and police check, come chat with our parents, they'll let you know how great we are :) . I am fully bilingual
