I am a mother of two children and after a long search for daycare myself I decided to explore home daycare. When I first began I worked with an agency and loved daycare so much I decided to attend Algonquin part time and take the Early childhood education program. I opened my doors in 1999 and have never looked back:)
I offer a home away from home environment for your little ones. I believe that children learn through play and focus on exploring their interests rather than a theme based week. Our daily activities include crafts, fine motor skills, gross motor activities, circle time, outdoor play. We also attend a weekly playgroup, go the library and other activities that will enhance our daily learning. I provide healthy meals and snacks. Our playroom is 1000 sqft of fun with a separate daycare entrance and plenty of natural light. It also as a nap room, bathroom and kitchen all on one level to best suit our needs.
I have excellent references and provide annual tax receipts.
