Description
I am a mom to three wonderful, well-behaved children ages 7(girl), 6(boy) and 2(boy). I was raised by my mom - a primary teacher who also specialized in educating special needs children. I have a diploma in biochemistry, and had decided to step out of the workforce to focus more on family life instead of my professional career! I have been around children my entire life, and understand firsthand the importance of providing a safe, educational and fun environment filled with love.
I offer a fun daily routine for children aimed at their individual developmental stage. This includes (and is not limited to): indoor/outdoor playtime, sensory games, crafts, reading and socializing. New activities are always being explored.
I love baking and love to cook - two to three nutritional meals and snacks are provided throughout the course of the day. A daily journal is used to communicate 'the day' with parents.
I offer a smoke free/pet free environment. I am First Aid and CPR trained.
I am located close to Lyn Public School. The outdoors is right on our front step, and I am not limited to the house for adventures! I currently have one full-time child in my care daily and will be expanding those numbers as my daycare business grows!
My weekday schedule is quite flexible and will occasionally offer weekend 'slumber parties' - or indoor campout and movie nights as a treat to parents to get a night out!
I am limited to occasional night time care (hours after 6pm) - please feel free to enquire should you be interested in this...I know first hand how difficult it can be to find reliable night time care for a working parent!
