My name is Teresa and I am a licensed day home with Child Development Day homes. I have 5 years’ experience operating a day home. I have 3 girls, 2 who are now in school full time.
We are a loving day home with a converted walkout basement onto a large secured back yard. The yard has a large play centre and good selection of outdoor toys. We are close to walking paths and several parks. Healthy homemade meals and snacks are provided according to the Canadian Food Guide. We are a pet friendly home.
We are a very active day home with a structured day including free play along with guided activities including art, music and stories along with encouraging speech development. I believe in supporting fine and gross motor skills, we play outside all year round whether playing in the park or walking to school, we can always find something to do. When the children are 3 and 4 I incorporate pre writing skills along with alphabet and name recognition in preparation for kindergarten. I believe in learning through play with positive reinforcement. We enjoy field trips both locally and sometimes to Calgary, we love our annual zoo pass and go to the library at least once a month, to name a few of our adventures. I recognize the fact that each child is an individual and will allow them to express themselves, whilst providing a safe nurturing environment for your child.
I am hoping to provide a home second only to yours.
I am open Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm
I have current Police and Family services checks along with CPR and First Aid.

I have my Early Childhood Education Level 1 Certified and am studying for my Level 2. I believe in continuing education to provide a supportive current learning environment and bring in new ideas to enhance the program.
Admission conditions
I am looking for a child who is over 3 years old as I have my government quota of children who are under 2.
