Hi there, just want to introduce myself. My name is Sara Thomson and I have been working in childcare since 2004. I graduated from Sheridan College with my Early Childhood Education, and am registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
I have two amazing children of my own ages 6 (boy) and 3 years (girl) they always keep my husband and I on our toes!
I have worked in daycare centres as well as my own home since April 2013. Attached will give you an idea of our daily schedule. My rate is $42 dollars a day which includes two nutritious snacks and a lunch. We always enjoy lots of outside time, music and yoga is our favourite right now!

Please have your child(ren) at daycare by 9:30 am so we can continue with our daily schedule. If you can't make it by 9:30 am please call to inform me of your plans.
For younger children that do not follow such a predictable routine I will do my best to make them comfortable, and will slowly introduce my daily schedule. Over a period of three weeks or so, they should adjust to the new schedule just fine.
Daily Routine
7:00 - 8:00 Arrival Time/breakfast/free play
8:00 - 8:15 diaper change
8:15 - 9:00 freeplay, quiet activities
9:00 - 9:20 nutritious snack - provided by daycare
9:20 - 9:30 cognitive circle (songs,stories,counting, recognition of colours etc.)
9:30 - 10:30 outdoor play (weather permitting) includes visiting local parks, going on walks, or remaining at the daycare yard
10:30 - 11:30 freeplay/creative/diapers
11:30 - 11:35 tidy up time
11:35 - 11:45 music circle
11:45 - 12:20 lunch time
12:20 - 12:45 quiet book time before nap/diapers
12:50 - 2:50 rest time, children remaining awake may do puzzles, books, or other quiet activities while others sleep
2:50 - 3:10 washroom routine
3:10 - 3:30 nutritious snack
3:30 - 3:40 dressed to go outside
3:40 - 4:40 outside play (weather permitting) in yard until daycare closes depending on the weather and time of pick up.
4:40 - 4:50 undress from outside
4:50 - 5:00 washroom routine
5:00 - 5:15 story time
5:15 - 5:30 quiet activities *daycare closes*
