I am opening a new home daycare in Barrhaven. I have 5 years experience working in daycare settings with a range of ages from infants to 4 year olds. I also have two children of my own.
I provide a warm, fun and caring environment where children can play, learn and explore. We go outside one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon, weather permitting. We do arts and crafts and love to get messy!!! I also plan different sensory activities like playdough, goop, etc. I provide a nutritious lunch and healthy morning and afternoon snacks. I use fresh fruits and vegetables whenever possible.
I am fluent in English and Spanish. I have a degree in Sociology and am in the process of completing the Early Childhood Education program at Algonquin College. I am certified in First Aid and CPR.
I am happy to provide a police records check and references upon request.
