I am a certified Montessori School Teacher, along with an Early Childhood Diploma. I have taught in the private school system for 4 years. I have 3 children (2 school aged and an infant).
I will provide a program that offers a combination of Day Care and Montessori activities. Some activities will include independence (learning to button or zipper clothing, and getting dressed); learning to discriminate size, shape and colour; and activities that develop your child's hand co-ordination which will aid in learning to read and write. I will help your child with self-esteem, social and communication skills and gross and fine motor skills.
Daily activities include circle time (songs, stories and the daily calendar), outings to the park, daily outdoor play (weather permitting), and arts and crafts. I offer healthy lunch and snacks.
I am First Aid/CPR trained.
My home is a clean, smoke-free environment both inside and out. I have a small friendly dog. He is a hypo-allergenic shi-poo. He loves kids and attention.
I am located in the Lydia Trulls P.S and Good Shepherd Catholic School area. My house is a few houses away from the Dr. G.J MacGillivray P.S bus stop (my children's school).
