Hello, I opened my home daycare in March 2014 and love what I do. I have a clear Police Records Check, CPR & First Aid, and am a member of the CCPRN. I have over 7 years of babysitting experience prior to opening, and also volunteered at a YMCA daycare. I've taken workshops with the CCPRN, and several online child care courses. I have 2 sons, aged 22 months and 5. I am patient and calm and have a good sense of humour.
We go to many different parks, have circle time every day, and play outside every day. Arts and crafts are done several times a week, and there are 3 playgroups nearby which we frequent. This is a smoke free and pool free home.
I have one shy cat who stays away from the daycare area most of the time.
Healthy snacks and a home made lunch are included everyday, following Canada's Food Guide.
I am not bilingual, but speak French very well, and have French books and toys at home.
