Welcome to my day home. Since this will be your child’s home away from home, I try to provide a safe, caring, homelike atmosphere for your children while at the same time providing for their physical, intellectual, emotional and social development. As a day home I strive to have a home based program that teaches the values and morals of a family through a play based environment. Encouraging the children to interact and to learn about the world through everyday activities and experiences.
I have my infant/child CPR, First Aid and police background check.
I provide care for a small group of 4 children which allows me to provide each child with the individualized care they deserve.
Having a small group enables us to take advantage of the facilities we have access to such as neighbourhood parks, Lake Sundance and the City of Calgary Library.
All food served during the day will include servings from each basic food group. There will be two snacks and lunch served. No breakfast or supper will be served to day home children unless we have a prearranged agreement.
We are a smoke free environment but we are not nut free.
I currently have 2 openings for children ages 2-4.
Full Time Care - $800/monthly
Part Time Care (3 day/week min.) - $40/daily
Day home hours can be adjusted to fit individual needs.
Admission conditions
We are a pet friendly home. Any interaction between the children and pets will be supervised. Our dog Bailey (shepherd/Lab) and cat Magnum do not have access to the playroom however the kitchen is a shared space. Safety is always my priority and therefore if your child has not been exposed to animals please let me know ahead of time so we can make the appropriate introductions.
