Hello parents my name is Cassie, thanks for taking the time to stop by and look at my ad. I'm so excited to be opening up my dayhome and bringing your wonderful children into my home. I'm a married mother to one 8 year old son. I have my police check completed and am currently enrolled in a child care first aid and CPR course, to be completed prior to the start of care. I have child psychology courses, as well as early development psychology courses completed from MRU.
-Single family home with a great location in a quiet family friendly neighbourhood on the west side Coventry Hills with easy access to Country Hills blvd, Deerfoot Trail, and Stoney Trail.
-Bright and sunny main floor dayhome with a large variety of toys for all ages in an organized child friendly setup. Items like; train tracks, dolls, hot wheels, barbies, dinosaurs, little people, coloring books and crayons, books, dress up clothes, flash cards, action figures, play kitchen, puzzles, etc.
-We have a fully fenced backyard with slides, climbing equipment, enclosed trampoline, and other outdoor toys. Outdoor play will happen daily, unless heavy rain or extreme cold. Daily free play in the backyard, as well as trips and picnics to one of the many nearby playgrounds.
-Healthy, home cooked meals will be served daily. Including breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks. Unlimited milk and water will also be provided. The children will also have hands on cooking with build your own pizza, make your own tacos, as well as assisting me with weekly baking.
-I like to keep busy and feel children learn and function best with a consistent schedule. Daily schedule will be provided to parents consisting of; free play, free craft time with organized crafts twice a week, daily story time, age appropriate sensory and developmental activities, outdoors play, etc. TV will be kept to special movie time during inclement weather, no more than once a week.
-Age appropriate learning; alphabet, numbers, counting, colors, shapes, vocabulary, workbooks, and basic Spanish and French. (numbers, colors, greetings, etc). One on one pre school style learning with the older children during nap time.
-Birthday parties for each child, holidays will all be celebrated with themed crafts and fun activities.
-We're a smoke free, pet friendly dayhome. We have an energetic, happy, 5 year old golden retriever/Australian Shepard cross dog named Jasper, as well as 4 very loving, cuddly cats named BamBam, Pebbles, Bud, and Stella. All the animals have been around kids since they were little and are all amazing with children. The cats are very personable and adore attention, and especially love little ones. The animals will be separated from the children during nap time and the house will be vacuumed daily to keep the fur to a minimum. Minimal carpet throughout the house also helps keep fur and dander at bay. If pets are a concern of yours with my day home I invite you to please come on by and see how truly wonderful they are.
