I am a qualified and experienced RECE (Registered Early Childhood Educator) who previously worked with the Region of Peel. My 4 year old son is starting Kindergarten in September, thus an opening!
My previous qualifications are from University of Guyana (Guyana, South America), East Surrey College (England) and Sheridan College.
My personal philosophy as a mother and RECE is that our children should be nurtured to their fullest potentials as research has proven that little children are constantly in the process of creating the adults they will become.
Thus, Little Harvard's provides a high quality, play based, positive and safe learning environment, with stimulating indoor and outdoor activities promoting social learning, physical and intellectual growth.
All play, learning and exploring materials are age appropriate and arranged in various interest areas e.g. Reading and Writing area, Active play area, Sand and Water area, Art and Craft area etc.
The children in my care are encouraged, motivated and supported with positive role modeling and a vital partnership with parents that contributes to their "Holistic Development".
Meals and snacks are provided based on Canada's Food Guide.
