Hello, my name is Gillian. I am an experienced care giver with 20+ years working with children. I am a former Special Education Assistant with the Calgary Catholic School Board and a mother of three young children so I know how it feels to want the BEST Care for your child.
This is why I have decided to stay at home and raise my children and start my own home dayhome. I have all the toys and and games needed to keep your little duckling entertained while he or she is here. We even have a Treehouse with a slide in the backyard available for hours of fun. At the Dancing Ducklings Dayhome, children are engaged in daily stimulating activities that are age and developmentally appropriate to each child.
All food is healthy and home-made. I provide 2 delicious and nutritious snacks and a healthy lunch everyday. I offer milk, water and juice with all the meals.
At the Dancing Ducklings Dayhome, I try to provide a home away from home environment. I want the children to feel comfortable, happy and loved while in my care. I treat all children the same with love, compassion and warmth. Your child is in great hands when left in my care. I will also treat your children like they were one of my own.
At the Dancing Ducklings Dayhome we focus on Safety and Fun. We enjoy daily walks to local parks & playgrounds. We are close to Fish Creek Park and Lake Bonavista. You can't find a better location. We are conveniently located just off Canyon Meadows Drive and Bow Bottom Trail with easy access to Deerfoot Trail and/or Macleod Trail for a quick commute.
I Have Been Trained In Childcare First Aid And In Canadian Red Cross CPR By Child Safe Canada.
