Care is provided in a loving home that is filled with natural wooden and cloth toys.
This is a TV-free home but we have a library of beautiful children's books to explore and read together.
Homemade lunch and nutritious snacks are prepared daily made from whole foods, locally sourced and organic when possible (special diet can be accomodated).
The children are involved in meal making and at least once a week we do baking (bread, cookies, cake, etc).
Other inside activities include small crafts, playing trains and sing-a-long time.
We love going outside and usually spend at least half our time outside.
Our unit is part of the Athlete's Village Co-op so we have a beautiful yard with dozens of play toys and a full playground right out our front door.
One block away is Hinge Park (with water feature), the beach at Habitat Island on False Creek and all the sculptures and curios that bespot the False Creek shoreline and sea wall are there for exploration on daily walks.
Other activities include excursions to Science World (only 10 minute walk away) and the False Creek Community Centre (for drop-in gym).
Care is provided by educated Mother (architect) who is currently stay-at-home to her two and half year old daughter.
Care is provided for one other child in addition to my two year old daugther.
Admission conditions
I'm currently taking care of my daughter and one other little girl two afternoons per week. I have an opening to accept another child for the other one, two or three afternoons a week. I am open for someone to make a commitment of one, two or three afternoons per week. On any given afternoon I will always only have two kids: my daughter and one other child.
If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
