I am a loving mom of 2 school age children and an ECE graduate with 20 years experience. I have been successfully operating my own home child care centre for 7 years. Previous to that I worked in a licensed child care centre. I have had experience working as a head teacher in a school age program, teacher in a toddler program and as an assistant with children with special needs. I currently have one full time space available in my home child care and would love the opportunity to care for your little one.
I offer both a structured and non-structured environment with activities such as crafts, circle time with songs and stories, baking, counting and learning letters. I offer a fenced in backyard where we spend a lot of our day when the weather permits. I also have a couple of parks within walking distance that we enjoy playing at.
I enjoy taking the children on outings to places such as the local playgroup, the sugar bush, museums, apple orchards etc. where the children have an opportunity to explore and learn.
I provide AM and PM snack as well as a nutritious lunch. Meals are homemade and follow the Canadian Food Guide.
I am certified in CPR and First Aid for infants/children and I have a Criminal Reference Check that is current.
I offer a smoke free environment where children can laugh, play and grow. Our home does have a couple of furry friends that love attention from the children. Our cat Tucker is affectionate and friendly and loves to be petted. Our rabbit Flower has her own penned area away from the children, but the children love when they are given the opportunity to share their fresh fruits and veggies with her.

Admission conditions
Phone interview is requested to discuss needs and expectations from both child care provider and parents. Meet and greet to see and explore the play area.
Parents are asked to review and sign contract prior to start up.
