Doodlebugs Childcare is currently full at the moment. I will have 3 Full time openings coming up for September 2018. 2 under 2 spots and 1 2 and over spot.
Doodlebugs is located in the Stonewater Bay subdivision located just off McNeely in Carleton Place.
I have been running Doodlebugs Childcare out of my home for 9+ years. I have a designated childcare room located in my home but I let the children play in my whole rec room which is about 1,000 Sq Ft. Each child will have their own seperate nap room in the house. All toys are disinfected once a week. I am a Smoke-Free Home with two small dogs that have been around daycare since I started and are great with kids.
My hours of operation are from 7am-5pm
I have a large fully fenced backyard with lots of outdoor toys. My playroom is filled with lots of toys for all ages and genders, We have 3 large playgrounds that are within walking distance. We play outdoors every day weather permitting.
When weather isn't so great we enjoy our days doing some other things like

I have special little celebrations for Halloween which the munchkins love dressing up and enjoying some special activites and crafts I plan for that day. For Christmas we have a celebration just before Christmas Eve and the munchkins draw names for Secret Santa and exchange their gifts and I do other special activities as well which they seem to enjoy this every year.
Every month I create a monthly calendar detailing what's going on for the days with their little special art work...here's just some to name a few
*Music Days *Show and Tell *Teddy Bear picinics *Craft Day * Jammie days
*Bring your own book for storytime to share
Healthy Lunch and two healthy snacks provided. Each child will have their own cubbie to put their belongings in. On the White board which all the parents love detailing the activities of the day, what we had for lunch and snacks, as well if anything is needed for your child.
I have excellent references and my references can be contacted as well. During the Meet and Greet I provide you with a Welcome Package to take home that includes my Contract, All about me form for child, Emergency Medical forms, Policies, Closure dates, Reference letters and other Consent forms.
