Mulu Home Daycare is located in the Coxwell and Danforth area (minutes from Earl Haig Public School and East Lynn Park). It is owned and operated by a primary/junior teacher who has over 10 years of experience working with children from preschool to grade 1. Mulu Home Daycare strives to provide families in the community with a safe and warm environment for their child to grow and flourish as individuals. By utilizing the community as a learning tool and the interests of each child for inspiration, Mulu Home Daycare is hoping to develop life-learners in each and every child.
I am CPR/First Aid Trained and have a B.Ed in Primary/Junior Education from OISE/UofT. I have a strong background and experience in phonics and implement it in my daily program plan, which helps prepare my students for reading and kindergarten! Using the emergent curriculum, my programs are formulated based on the children's interests and passion.
Food and healthy eating is a vital part of a child's growth and my passion and joy for cooking ensures that all meals provided are home-cooked and made from organic or locally grown foods.

10:15-11:15 Outdoor Play (Weather permitting)
11:15-11:30 Circle Time (Good Morning Song, Calendar, Letter of the Week Review, and Story Time)
11:30-12:30 Lunch
12:30-12:45 Bathroom Routine
12:45-2:45 Nap Time
2:45-3:00 Bathroom Routine
3:00-3:15 Book Discovery
3:15-3:45 Snack
3:45-4:00 Story Time
4:00-5:00 Outdoor Play (Weather Permitting)
5:00-6:00 Free Play and One-on-one time with each child (practice printing, colour and shape recognition, number and letter recognition etc.)
