I believe that every child is an individual who learns at their own pace and in their own learning style. Every child has their own special interests which will motivate and assist them in their developmental learning. As an Early Childhood Educator, it is my job to provide children with meaningful educational experiences that will support them in their physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social development. I am an Educator, Nurturer and Role Model to every child in my life. I believe it is important to continue to educate yourself and experience different curriculums and teaching styles to help you become the best Early Childhood Educator and Care Giver you can be. Some of the ways I will achieve this is by networking with other caregivers and ongoing professional development.
At Baby Bee's, all of the daily activities and the learning environment will be planned using components from a few of my favorite curriculums. The curriculums I be using are a blend of The Emergent Approach, High Scope and Montessori. I will provide age-appropriate experiences for children 12 months to 6 years of age.
