We believe that children learn best when encountering the world through play and discovery. The Fruitful Pursuits program was born out of a desire to create an environment that offers unique educational opportunities through free-play and outdoor discovery while maintaining a familial atmosphere
The care we provide is tailored to your child, because we are not operating in an institutional daycare, we can let the children’s interest’s guide our days and how we learn, we can slow things down or speed them up according to mood, personality, interest, and age. We take a community driven approach to childcare, allowing your children to explore their world within the surrounding neighbourhoods. Learning emerges from our adventures and games; we encourage child-directed play. With us, little ones learn problem solving through play and hands on activities, mastering new ideas and social skills experientially. It is our sincere belief that engaging with one another and the place we live in this way encourages children to be creative, confident and respectful of others with knowledge of the importance of diversity and a belief in social justice. We are a LGBTTIQQ2SA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer/Questioning, 2 Spirited, Allies) welcoming environment and as such do not have expectations of your child based on gender.
