I have over 5 years experience in childcare with dayhome, day care, special needs supported care, and most recently a program director position. I have decided to open a dayhome to spend more time with my almost 3 year old son. I currently hold my level 1 certificate, and in school through distance learning working on my level 2. I have up to date first aid/CPR and I have taken (and plan to take) many childcare workshops, the most recent being the child care conference at Grant MacEwan University.
-I provide lunch and two snacks.
-flexible hours to work with family schedules
-daily art and activities- all open ended based on children interests
-regular field trips
-I have a nice little back yard and a playground near by
As of November 1 (maybe a bit sooner) have two before and after school spaces, and one full day space - preferably 2-3 years old so my son can have a playmate. I do have great references, and would be more than happy have a family call any of my references.
