I am a licensed caregiver through the Region of Waterloo, which means that this is a place you can trust. I am inspected monthly by the Region and any time unexpectedly by the Ministry. I, therefore, meet the requirements (e.g.: have fire extinguisher, first aid kit, clean criminal record and driving record, First Aid/CPR certification).
I am also a second year early childhood educator college student with growing knowledge in the field.
I have two children who are attending kindergarten and school.
I have available spots for full-time, part-time children from age 0-8. If you need before or after school care, I pick up children at our bus stop who are attending Lester B. Pearson Public School (Waterloo).
We have two snack times, one is around 10 AM and the other one is at around 3:30 PM (when the children come home from school).
Lunchtime is at noon, which is provided for children from 1 year of age (who eat everything) and up.
Nutritional food is provided every day (dairy, fruit, grain, meat, vegetable). If the child needs a special diet, food needs to be provided by the parents (e.g.: almond milk, formula).
We go outside every day at least for an hour (unless it's too cold or too hot) so please dress your child appropriately for the weather or provide extra clothes.
We read, sing, dance, do crafts, play with blocks, puzzles, board games, role play, and every kind of toys that are appropriate for the child's age. We go for walks, play in the backyard, or go to the nearby playground and park.
We speak English and Hungarian.
We are a cat friendly family with one cat in the house with up-to-date shots.
