I provide a safe and fun environment for your child. I have been running my daycare for over twenty five years. My home is smoke free and pet free. I have two full size cribs and each child will have their own room for nap-time. My weekly activities include outdoor playtime (at the school, my backyard or the city park which is a few houses away), Story-time at the Pond Mills library, crafts, colouring, puzzles, Lego or Duplo, Play-doh and indoor play. I have a large collection of toys, games and puzzles suitable for many different ages.
From an early age I work on colours and counting. We look at books, learn our abc's, sing songs and explore our neighbourhood. In my backyard I have a large climber with a slide and swings. I also have cars to drive, a teeter totter, a water/sand/rice table, lots of chalk and more.
I enjoy working with children and helping them become independent through small steps as in hanging up their coats and putting on their shoes. I appreciate good manners and politeness and always try to reinforce these with the children in my care.
My husband and I have police checks and we are both trained in CPR.
Over the years I have provided care for a number of children under the care of Children's Aid.
I am happy to accommodate a teacher's schedule and do not charge over the summer months when your child is not at my home.

I do not charge for days I take off. You will only pay for the days your child is in my care providing I am given 48 hours notice of your child's absence.
A minimum of 3 days care a week is required.
I issue receipts at the end of the year for all payments received. |
