Playtopia Child Care & Learning Centre is currently a licensed not required child care centre and therefore we have space for two children only. However, we are going through the licensing process and will be able to care for 6 children once license is issued to us. We provide care for children aged 0 to 12 years old.
About me:
I have certificate from Good Beginnings course, Early Childhood Education (ECE) assistant license and first aid certificate. I am pursuing ECE educator license right now and have taken health and nutrition course. I am taking child development course currently.
About the centre:
The child care facility is in my home. Located on Garden City by Francis in central Richmond, BC. I have 3 rooms dedicated for child care purpose (nap room, play/circle time room, art & craft/dining room), one bathroom with children's size toilet and a very big yard for your child to go get fresh air and play with nature. I have different ride on toys, wagons, water/sand table and balls for children to enjoy. This centre has bright colors, open layout, child-size furniture and lots of educational toys (Melissa & Doug, Playskool, Fisher-Price, etc.)
This is what a day looks like for children:
Free play time (puzzles, legos, play kitchen, books by library corner or other toys), morning circle (we will greet everyone, talk about days of the week, month, season, yesterday, today, tomorrow, weather, sing songs, tell stories etc. ), morning snack, outdoor time, lunch time, nap time, free play, afternoon snack, art and craft and outdoor activities.
